As you ponder these descriptive names of the MESSIAH, which name are you drawn to? Why?
More scriptures to include in your ADVENT scripture readings this week...
This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all.
But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
Pause and reflect on what you have read. The KING of GLORY, gave us HIS SON! There is no greater LOVE than this. What GIFT shall we give THE KING this year?
...over the hills and everywhere. Go tell it on the mountain that JESUS CHRIST is born! Today, enjoy sharing this GOOD NEWS with your loved ones and those waiting to receive GODs GIFT! 📯 HALLELUJAH, Go Tell It! GOD with Us (Isaiah 7:14) “Therefore THE LORD Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call Him IMMANUEL.” COUNSELOR for Us (Isaiah 9:6) “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. Best Dad Ever My Daddy. That is how I fondly referred to Charlie Lee Works whenever I spoke about him to others. Not "my father." Not "my dad." He was always my Daddy. Whenever I shared one of my big ideas with him, he would smirk, slowly shake his head, look me directly in the eyes, and say, "Girl, you really know how to tell stories." As a child, I took that to mean I had a wild imagination. What I understand now is that my Daddy never dismissed my dreams. He never told me what I couldn't do. He never laughed at my aspirations or made me feel foolish for believing something was possible. Because he believed in me, I learned to believe in myself. I loved my Daddy deeply. Even during the times when we knocked heads, he still walked on water in my eyes. My Daddy worked hard. Very hard. As a child, I never heard him complain about it. I watched him show up, provide, and keep moving forward. I assumed that was simply how life worked. I thought the peace...
Today's Prayer: May my sister feel she is not alone. HALLELUJAH JESUS, THANK YOU LORD for your EVERLASTING LOVE! Have you been asked to pray for someone and your first thought was, "I got my own stuff happening to me right now. How can I pray for someone else when I need GOD for myself right now? Well I am here to tell you, this is the best time to pray! I have realized in mature years that this is exactly when I pray the best prayers. I know that sounds crazy, but when I need GOD more, this is when the prayer requests start flooding in. This is when I know, I can't but GOD is MORE THAN [my] able. HOLY SPIRIT is a gift to us to do the heavy lifting. When we surrender whatever is weighing on us to GOD, that is when HE steps in and handles it. Now don't think you don't have to participate, because we do. We have the following parts in this: TRUST GOD, PRAISE GOD, WORSHIP GOD and BELIEVE. You can't fake your way through this. GOD ...
