This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all.

 
But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

 
Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”


Pause and reflect on what you have read.  The KING of GLORY, gave us HIS SON!  There is no greater LOVE than this.  What GIFT shall we give THE KING this year?

Sister CheckIN - Can you hear me...are you listening?

Today I had an opportunity to #WalkWithAFriend who needed a listening ear. It was more about me understanding than her seeking advice. This walk was so much MORE than #showingUp365ForMe to put another trek in the books but rather about me being present, fully present to listen and not judge. I experience GREAT JOY when creating safe places for purposeful, life-changing conversations. Since becoming a self-care Freedom Fighter turned self-care steward, I not only help to give voice to the transformational benefits of self-care but also create and/or support organizations and advocates who are committed to empowering others to live free and thrive. I am my sister's keeper. To see her...to hear her...and be fully present as she cries out. I will pray for and with her believing GOD who is attentive to her cries.
