Sister CheckIN - Can you hear me...are you listening?

Today I had an opportunity to #WalkWithAFriend who needed a listening ear. It was more about me understanding than her seeking advice. This walk was so much MORE than #showingUp365ForMe to put another trek in the books but rather about me being present, fully present to listen and not judge. I experience GREAT JOY when creating safe places for purposeful, life-changing conversations. Since becoming a self-care Freedom Fighter turned self-care steward, I not only help to give voice to the transformational benefits of self-care but also create and/or support organizations and advocates who are committed to empowering others to live free and thrive.

I am my sister's keeper. To see her...to hear her...and be fully present as she cries out. I will pray for and with her believing GOD who is attentive to her cries. THE LORD has given me HIS GRACE to walk alongside to comfort and care for my sister. 

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 The Passion Translation (TPT)
3 All praises belong to the GOD and FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. For HE is the FATHER of tender mercy and the GOD of endless comfort. 4 HE always comes alongside us to comfort us in every suffering so that we can come alongside those who are in any painful trial. We can bring them this same comfort that GOD has poured out upon us. 5 And just as we experience the abundance of CHRIST's own sufferings, even more of GOD’s comfort will cascade upon us through our union with CHRIST.

Sister 2 Sister Prayers - My sister is not alone!

Today's Prayer: May my sister feel she is not alone. HALLELUJAH JESUS, THANK YOU LORD for your EVERLASTING LOVE! Have you been asked to pray for someone and your first thought was, "I got my own stuff happening to me right now. How can I pray for someone else when I need GOD for myself right now? Well I am here to tell you, this is the best time to pray!  I have realized in mature years that this is exactly when I pray the best prayers.  I know that sounds crazy, but when I need GOD more, this is when the prayer requests start flooding in.  This is when I know, I can't but GOD is MORE THAN [my] able.  HOLY SPIRIT is a gift to us to do the heavy lifting.  When we surrender whatever is weighing on us to GOD, that is when HE steps in and handles it.  Now don't think you don't have to participate, because we do.  We have the following parts in this:  TRUST GOD, PRAISE GOD, WORSHIP GOD and BELIEVE.  You can't fake your way through this.  GOD sees and knows our heart
